FeelWooh is committed to making this site easy to use for everyone. That includes people who use screen readers, keyboard-only navigation, browser zoom, high-contrast modes, or other assistive technologies.

What we have done

The site is built with readability and navigation in mind across all 24 content categories and hundreds of published guides.

Reading and structure

Every guide uses clear headings in a logical order — H1 for the page title, H2 for main sections such as the shortlist, editorial assessment, and FAQ, and H3 for subsections within cards. This allows screen reader users and keyboard navigators to move through content efficiently without reading everything linearly.

Device compatibility

The site is fully responsive and works across phones, tablets, and desktop screens. Text scales cleanly when you increase your browser font size or use page zoom. No content is hidden or truncated at any standard screen size.

Contrast and legibility

The site is designed to keep text clear, easy to read, and comfortable to navigate across different screen sizes and devices.Colour is not used as the sole means of conveying meaning — for example, rating indicators include both colour and numeric text.

Links and navigation

Link text is written to be descriptive on its own — for example “find a dentist in London” rather than “click here.” This matters for screen reader users who navigate by scanning links rather than reading full paragraphs. Navigation menus are consistent across all pages.

Images

Where images are included in guides — including featured images and business photos — we provide descriptive alternative text so the content remains accessible to users who cannot see the image or who use a screen reader.

No autoplay

The site does not autoplay video or audio. No content begins playing without user interaction.

Forms and contact

The contact form uses labelled fields so that screen readers can identify each input correctly. Error messages are associated with the relevant field, not just shown visually.

Business directory cards

Each business listing card in our guides includes structured information — name, address, rating, opening hours, and contact details — in a consistent order across all guides. This predictable structure helps assistive technology users navigate between listings.

Known limitations

We are honest about what we have not yet fully addressed.

Third-party advertising: Google AdSense advertising units displayed on this site are outside our direct control. We cannot guarantee these elements meet the same standard as our own content. Google publishes its own accessibility information at policies.google.com.

Embedded maps: Business listing cards include embedded Google Maps iframes. These are provided for convenience and may not be fully navigable by keyboard alone. Each listing also includes a plain text address and a direct link to open the location in Google Maps as an alternative.

Third-party content: Customer reviews displayed in guides are sourced from Google Maps. The formatting of this content is fixed and may occasionally include non-standard characters or abbreviated text from the original source.

If any part of the site is creating a barrier for you, please tell us directly. That is more useful to us than any automated audit.

Standard we aim for

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. This is the internationally recognised benchmark for web accessibility.

We are not making a formal compliance declaration. FeelWooh is a continuously updated publication and we assess accessibility on an ongoing basis rather than certifying a fixed state. Where third-party components fall short of this standard and we cannot control them directly, we note this explicitly in the Known Limitations section above.

Get help or report an issue

If something on FeelWooh is difficult to access, does not work with your assistive technology, or creates a barrier you did not expect, please contact us:

Email: admin@feelwooh.com
Subject line: Accessibility

When you write, it helps to include:

  • The URL of the page you were on
  • The assistive technology or browser you were using
  • A brief description of what you were trying to do and what happened instead

We will respond within 5 business days and do our best to provide the content in a format that works for you, or to fix the issue if it is within our control.

We take accessibility feedback seriously. It is the most direct way we learn where the site falls short.

Formal complaints

If you are not satisfied with our response to an accessibility concern, you may contact the relevant authority in your region. In the UK, this is the Equality and Human Rights Commission. In the EU, national accessibility enforcement bodies handle formal complaints under the European Accessibility Act.
